Drivewise Setup Guide (Android & iPhone)
1 – Getting Started
  • Download the Allstate Mobile App Android or iOS
  • Log in with your My Account username and password
    (Each driver must have their own account)
  • Accept the terms and conditions
2 – Turn On Drivewise
  • Tap the prompt to Set Up Drivewise
  • Follow the on-screen steps to begin setup
3 – Allow Required Permissions
To make sure trips are tracked correctly, allow the following:
  • Location → Set to “Allow all the time”
  • Motion & Fitness / Physical Activity → Allow
  • Notifications → Allow
  • Battery Usage (Android only) → Set to Allow / Unrestricted
If any permissions are missing, the app will prompt you to fix them before continuing.
4 – Final Steps
  • Tap “Continue” after all permissions are enabled
  • You’re now ready to take your first trip!
Drivewise Trip Requirement
  • Complete at least 50 trips before renewal
  • Not meeting the requirement may affect your discount
Tip: Everyday driving (work, errands, school runs) all count!
Helpful Tips
  • Keep your location set to “Always Allow”
  • Make sure battery saver isn’t blocking the app
  • Review your trips in the app and adjust if needed
